IHS donates software to the PTE program

Significant gift will enable next generation of geoscientists and engineers to learn using industry
standard tools and technology; ensure faculty has resources for research.
04/04/2016 – Petroleum Engineering students at Mississippi State University will now have access to educational licenses of Harmony, WellTest and Perform, thanks to a generous donation from IHS Inc. (www.ihs.com), the leading source of critical information and insight. The students will use these software package to get hands on experience with pressure transient analysis, as well as field management.
The estimated value of this generous donation is $900,000.
